On October 8, Whitefield, Piercetown and West Pelzer firefighters were dispatched to a residential structure fire on Cromer Rd. Firefighters quickly contained the fire that was showing through the roof upon arrival.
Responding Units: Engine 22, Engine 22-1, Tanker 22, Engine 13, Tanker 13, Engine 6-1 and Rescue 6.
On August 6, Whitefield firefighters responded to a two-car collision at the intersection of Breazeale Rd and Mitchell Rd. Multiple victims were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Firefighters stood by as a precaution until the natural gas provider could inspect a standpipe that was damaged.
On July 23, Whitefield, Broadway and Cheddar firefighters responded to a mobile home fire on Brown Rd. The home was vacant, and the cause of fire is under investigation.
On February 2, Whitefield and Wren firefighters assisted West Pelzer FD with a structure fire on Bellview Cir in West Pelzer. The abandoned home was fully engulfed upon arrival. No injuries were reported.

On February 1, Whitefield firefighters responded to a three-car traffic accident at the intersection of US 29 N and Welcome Rd. Firefighters used the Jaws-of-Life to free the driver from one of the vehicles. Several patients were transported to local hospitals by MedShore and Pelzer EMS units. West Pelzer firefighters also responded to assist with the extrication.

On January 27, Whitefield firefighters responded to a field fire on Dorchester Rd. Apparatus from Whitefield, along with brush trucks and tankers from the Cheddar and Rock Springs stations worked to contain the fire to three acres and prevented it from reaching a nearby home.
